After slightly more than a month the big moment was finally there. I went to Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world! There are so many good stories going on, and as it is one of the highlights of the east coast I was really looking forward to it.

My time on Fraser Island was a crash course in the Australian ways; being stalked by dingoes, learning how to fix a broken thong with just a bobby pin, walking around bare foot, learning to a skull a mug of goon and vegemite eating competitions.

Before we came to Fraser Island the only things I pictured about it was that it was all sand and Dingoes everywhere. However Fraser Island was a lot different than I expected… it was lots of FUN!! The only disappointment was that I only saw about 3 dingoes the whole time!
