Gidday Hot sun, Sunburn, Hot sand, Spiders, Snakes, Marsh flies, Pain. One car stopped. A large Huntsman spider was to blame. WET WET  WET.  The weather turned on us at the beginning of this tour. It was different driving on the sand being firm from about 100mls rain.
