Wanggoolba Creek, Central Station

Wanggoolba Creek is similar to Eli Creek although rather than being on the eastern part of Fraser Island like Eli Creek, Wanggoolba Creek is found right in the centre at the aptly named Central Station.

Wanggoolba Creek at Central Station is located right in the middle of the rainforest and is a great place to stop for a picnic and learn a little bit more about the area in the information centre. Central Station is also a good place to pitch your tent for the night.

It’s well worth going for a walk around Wanggoolba Creek and the rainforest to take in and marvel at some of the trees found in the area!
